WHERE DO THE FEATHERS COME FROM?

Each one of these feathers that lands on your path holds insights from incredible individuals who have shared their knowledge and ideas. Some of these tips and activities come from the personal wisdom of those close to me, while others are from the work and ideas of psychologists and scientists. Plus there's a few little feathers that I've just picked up along the way from my own experiences.

Feathered Paths started at a difficult time in my life, when I found myself feeling stuck in my own journey. So, I sought guidance from others close to me and started researching and experimenting with motivational methods and well-being tips to find a way forward. I wanted a better understanding of how to overcome the challenges and emotions that had stopped me on my path. I needed to regain a sense of control and direction.

Although I discovered wonderful advice, helpful activities, and practical tips, the sheer volume of information, combined with my emotions at the time, left me feeling overloaded. I wished someone could simply tell me what to do or give me an easy list of steps to get myself "unstuck."

I was fed up, tired and frankly a bit peeved with the world in general. So I tried starting with the simplest activities I had found so far and the advice that was easiest to implement. I mean, I literally followed the easiest to action piece of well-being advice I could get my hands on with some help from Mr Google. To put it into practice, I didn't have to go anywhere or speak to anyone. And it required barely any energy to complete. So considering my 'I'm so stuck, I just can't see a way out, I just want to stay in bed' mindset at the time, it was just perfect! (I will of course share this feather with you, among the many others).

Those tips and tasks that proved to be the most powerful and the least energy draining, became the foundation for what is now Feathered Paths - An ever-evolving plan for well-being.

This plan moved me forward on my own path and brought so much positivity back into my days. So I wanted to share these little feathers with those who may be feeling trapped or would just like to add a little more pep into their steps.

As Confucius famously said, "The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones."

So, try picking up these feathers on your path and discover what they can do for you.
